Free Excel templates for manufacturers

Three working spreadsheets with formulas and sample data: cost a product, measure OEE, and compare ERP vendors. Use them with or without ERPDrive.

Short answer: ERPDrive offers three free Excel templates for Indian manufacturers: a BOM cost sheet that works out cost per piece and selling price, an OEE tracker that turns shift data into availability, performance and quality, and an ERP vendor scorecard for comparing up to three systems. Each opens in Excel or Google Sheets and needs no macros.

BOM Cost Sheet

Find the real cost of one finished piece, and the price that gives you the margin you want.

  • Materials with quantity per piece, rate and scrap %
  • Labour and machine cost per operation, from minutes per piece and hourly rates
  • Job work, overheads, margin on selling price and GST
  • Cost split, profit per piece and total for the batch

OEE Tracker

Log each machine and shift, and see where the hours actually go.

  • One row per machine per shift: planned time, downtime, ideal cycle, parts, rejects
  • Availability, performance, quality and OEE for every row
  • A summary weighted by time and parts, not an average of percentages
  • The biggest loss called out, so you know where to start

ERP Vendor Scorecard

Compare up to three ERPs on what matters to your factory, before the sales pitch decides for you.

  • 16 points a factory should check, from multi-level BOM to data export
  • Your own weight for each point, 0 to 5
  • A score for each vendor, filled in right after their demo
  • A weighted result out of 100 for each vendor

Questions about the templates

Yes. There is nothing to pay and no trial. We ask for your name, email and phone so we can send the file and follow up once about ERPDrive.

Yes. They are plain .xlsx files with ordinary formulas and no macros, so they open in Excel, Google Sheets and LibreOffice.

No. They are ordinary spreadsheets and work on their own. ERPDrive does the same calculations automatically from your bills of materials, job cards and stock.

Yes. Nothing is locked. Yellow cells are for your numbers, and you can add rows, change the wording or share the file with your team.

OEE is availability multiplied by performance multiplied by quality. Availability is run time divided by planned time, performance is the ideal time for the parts made divided by run time, and quality is good parts divided by total parts.

It adds material, labour, machine, job work and overheads to get the cost of one piece, then divides by one minus your margin. A 20 percent margin on selling price means the cost is 80 percent of the price.
