About ERPDrive: Built by Engineers Who Understand Manufacturing
About ERPDrive matters for Indian manufacturers. ERPDrive was founded with a single conviction: Indian manufacturers deserve world-class software built for their reality, not repurposed enterprise tools designed for Western corporations.
About ERPDrive: Our Story
ERPDrive was born out of frustration. Our founders spent years working with Indian manufacturers who were stuck between two bad options: enterprise ERPs like SAP and Oracle that cost lakhs and took months to implement, or basic accounting tools like Tally that could not handle production planning, BOM management, or quality control.
We visited factories in Pune, Rajkot, Chennai, Ludhiana, and Aurangabad. We saw production schedules managed on whiteboards. BOMs tracked in Excel files emailed back and forth. Quality records in paper registers. GST invoicing done manually with errors that led to notices.
The gap was clear. Indian manufacturers needed an ERP that understood their workflows - from multi-level BOMs and job work challans to GST with correct HSN codes. An ERP that did not require six months of customization, a dedicated IT team, or a consultant on permanent retainer.
So we built ERPDrive. A cloud ERP designed from day one for Indian auto parts and component manufacturers. Pre-configured for manufacturing workflows. Accessible for SMEs. Ready to go live in under two weeks.
The Insight
Indian manufacturers do not need a simpler ERP. They need a smarter one - one that already understands their production processes, compliance requirements, and the way business actually gets done on the factory floor.
Make World-Class ERP Accessible to Every Indian Manufacturer
We believe that the size of your factory should not determine the quality of your software. A 20-person machining unit in Rajkot deserves the same production visibility and operational control as a 2,000-person automotive plant in Pune.
Our mission drives every product decision we make. We do not build features to tick boxes on an analyst's checklist. We build features because a factory owner in Chennai told us they waste two hours every morning reconciling production data across three spreadsheets. We build features because a quality manager in Ludhiana cannot show batch traceability records during an OEM audit without digging through filing cabinets.
Every module in ERPDrive exists because a real Indian manufacturer told us they needed it. And every workflow is designed based on how Indian factories actually operate - not how a textbook says they should.
What We Stand For
Our values are not slogans. They are operating principles that shape how we build, sell, and support ERPDrive.
Simplicity
Manufacturing is complex. Software should not add to that complexity. Every screen, every workflow, and every report in ERPDrive is designed to be intuitive. If your shop floor supervisor cannot use it without a training manual, we have failed.
Indian-First
ERPDrive is not a global product localized for India as an afterthought. GST compliance, HSN codes, job work challans, e-way bills, Hindi language support, and WhatsApp integration are built into the core. We understand how Indian businesses operate because we are one.
Manufacturing DNA
We are not a generic business software company that added a manufacturing module. Manufacturing is all we do. Our team includes people who have worked on factory floors, managed production lines, and dealt with OEM audits. That domain expertise is embedded in every feature.
Customer Success
We do not just sell software and disappear. Every ERPDrive customer gets a dedicated implementation partner, WhatsApp-based support, and regular check-ins. Your success is our success. If ERPDrive does not deliver measurable results for your factory, we have not done our job.
ERPDrive by the Numbers
We measure our progress by the impact we create for Indian manufacturers.
Why Parts Manufacturing?
India is the third-largest automotive market in the world and the fourth-largest auto manufacturer globally. The auto component sector alone contributes over 2.3% to India's GDP and employs over 50 lakh people.
Yet, the vast majority of India's auto parts manufacturers - the small and medium enterprises that form the backbone of this industry - still run their operations on legacy tools that were never built for manufacturing.
We chose to focus on auto parts manufacturing because the need is acute, the market is massive, and the impact is tangible. When a 50-person machining unit in Pune can track production in real time, manage quality to IATF standards, and generate GST-compliant invoices without manual effort, that is a meaningful improvement in how Indian manufacturing operates.
Auto parts manufacturing is our starting point, not our end point. But we believe in going deep before going wide. We would rather be the best ERP for Indian auto parts manufacturers than a mediocre ERP that claims to serve every industry.

Founder
Jainam Shah is the founder of ERPDrive. He built ERPDrive after seeing Indian manufacturers run production on Tally, Excel, and WhatsApp, and works directly with factories across auto components, garments, dyeing and printing, paper converting, and FMCG. He reviews ERPDrive content to keep it grounded in real shop-floor workflows. More about Jainam Shah.
